How to Change or Reset your Password for Windows/Email, Google, Okta

Windows:

  1. While logged in to a work computer with your login, press and hold the following keys: CTRL ALT Delete
  2. Select the "Change a password" option.
  3. Type in your current password into the "Old Password" field.
  4. Type in your new desired password into the "New Password" field.
  5. Type in your new desired password again into the "Confirm Password" field.
  6. Hit Enter.
  7. Your password should now be changed.

If you receive any errors, start the process over and make sure you are typing in the same password in both the "New Password" and "Confirm Password" fields.

Email:

  1. Log in to the Outlook Webmail via your preferred browser.
  2. Mouse over to the top right of the screen where the "Options" button is, and click on it.

  3. Select the "Change Your Password" option.

  4. In the following page, type in your current password in the "Current password" field.
  5. Type in your new desired password into the "New password" field.
  6. Type in your new desired password again into the "Confirm new password" field.
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. You're done!

If you receive any errors, start the process over and make sure you are typing in the same password in both the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields.

Google:

  1. Navigate to: https://myaccount.google.com/
  2. Under the Sign-in & security header, select "Signing in to Google"

  3. In the following screen, Select "Password"

  4. You may be asked to verify your account:

  5. Then, enter in a new password, and confirm the new password by typing it in again and click on the "CHANGE PASSWORD" button.
  6. You're done!

Okta:

There is no reset option for Okta.
